  • Objectives of the organization: The International Erich Fromm Society serves to preserve, research, further develop and communicate the scientific findings and ideas of Erich Fromm, who worked internationally. and has achieved worldwide significance. To this end, it organizes non-profit conferences that are open to everyone, promotes working groups and issues publications.


Information on tax relief

Tax exemption: The International Erich-Fromm-Gesellschaft e.V. is tax-exempt for the promotion of scientific purposes according to the last notice of exemption we received from the Tübingen tax office, StNr 86166/55257, dated December 15, 2020 according to § 5 Abs. 1 No. 9 of the German Corporation Tax Act (Körperschaftsteuergesetz) and from trade tax in accordance with Section 3 No. 6 of the German Trade Tax Act (Gewerbesteuergesetz).

Personnel structure

Staff: Since 2011, the office of the International Erich-Fromm-Gesellschaft e.V. has been managed by a managing director who is employed on a part-time basis. Other employees are not available, all other contributors work on a purely voluntary basis.
